The all aluminized and stainless steel Aero Chamber is designed to do much more than simply muffle exhaust noise. The Aero Chamber Muffler produces a deep throaty powerful sound that will not change with time. The Hooker Aero Chamber uses a unique step principal, similar to that which is currently popular in racing header design. The aerodynamically designed chambers flow 23% better and produce more horsepower and torque than the most popular high performance brand.
The Hooker Maximum Flow muffler actually flows 99% and produces more horsepower and torque than a 2-1/2" open pipe. The Maximum Flow is constructed of all aluminized and stainless steel and uses a high temperature packing material to absorb excessive noise while allowing a mellow powerful sound. As with all absorption type silencers, the Maximum Flow will be most effective for sound control with lower compression (8.5 to 1 and lower) motors with conservative camshafts and with applications using catalytic converter(s). The Maximum Flow flows either direction, allowing for easy installation.
Hooker Turbos have large diameter flow tubes and create a powerful exhaust sound on acceleration with quiet operation at idle and cruising speeds. They have aluminized double wrapped construction for longer life and a unique design to prevent structural damage from vibration, heat and backfires with an internal drainage system to reduce corrosion.
Hooker offers Universal bolt-on Turnout style mufflers which are perfect for Jeeps, broncos and Landcruisers using fenderwell exit headers. By using a spin-ring for universal mounting, these 3 1/2" O.D. case sidemount mufflers will bolt to any 3-bolt 3" O.D. ringed collectors. Hooker supplies the mounting hardware for proper muffler support. The mufflers use a welded all metal core for longer life and are engineered to control sound without restricting flow. Available in "show quality" chrome or heat cured black high temp paint. Hooker polishes chrome mufflers before and after welding to insure a perfect finish. Sold in pairs.
Sound and flow of the Hooker Tuned Flow muffler can be adjusted up to 40% simply by rotating the internal barrel. The Tuned Flow muffler is designed for weld-on or clamp-on installations a the the end of tailpipes or header collectors. The housing comes with a welded U-channel bracket and chrome clamp for easy mounting on most applications.
Hooker 4" Universal Sidemounts reduce backpressure, improving low end torque for better performance and fuel economy. The classic Hooker 4-into-1 (NOTE: 3 tubes are dummies) collectors utilize huge 2-1/8" diameter primaries mandrel bent to maintain a consistent inside diameter for maximum flow. Our 4" 16-gauge sidepipes utilize long lasting slip-in mufflers. These mufflers are easily removed for racing purposes and are available in a performance style (glasspack) or quieter reverse flow style (all metal).
For 4" Sidetube Slip Insound control, Hooker builds long lasting slip-in mufflers. These mufflers are easily removed for racing purposes and are available in a performance style glasspack (21021HKR) or Hooker's quieter all metal reverse flow style (21002HKR and 21003HKR). Hooker mufflers produce a high level of sound control without restricting engine efficiency. Sold in pairs.
Elite Series Stainless Mufflers without collector flanges are perfect for really special hot rods or performance street machines. These mufflers utilize a 3 1/2" diameter case, high temp pack material and large 2" cores. manufactured from 304 aircraft quality polished stainless steel, the mufflers are availabe in all popular inlet/outlet sizes.
